We are Solicitors based in Sutton Coldfield, just north of Birmingham in the West Midlands and attend all Police Stations and Magistrates’ Courts in the area. We also deal with Crown Court cases and where necessary, appeals to higher courts. If you are appearing in Court, we can help. We attend Courts, Police Stations and Prisons on a daily basis throughout the West Midlands. We will often travel much further afield at the request of our Clients.

We have a nine strong team of Caseworkers, Legal Executives and Solicitors. Together we have decades of experience dealing with the most serious of offences and of course the more frequent motoring and drink driving cases. Whatever the case we take on we know it will always be important to you and we will assist you carefully through any investigation or Court process.

We specialise in the full range of Family Law matters including Divorce, Financial Settlements within a Divorce, Co-habitation Disputes, Children’s Matters including Residence, Contact and Change of Name. We also offer specialist advice and representation in relation to Domestic Violence Injunctions. The Head of our Family Department is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel, which recognises him as a specialist in Family Law.

Our recently opened Family Department provides an expansion to the service we offer in addition to our well established Criminal Department.

Will Harrington & Co has a Quality Mark in respect of Crime to provide legal services on behalf of the Criminal Defence Service. They monitor us regularly and help us to ensure that all of our lawyers provide a good service.

Most of our Criminal Clients qualify for legal help without their means being considered by the Court. This means that whether you are in a good job or receive state benefits we can usually help without charge to you. Very occasionally we have to ask you to pay for our help – but this would be discussed with you before going on to incur any charges.

We have been awarded the Specialist Quality Mark in Family Law which means we are authorised to represent clients in publically Funded (.i.e. Legally Aided) family law work.
